NetbaseQuid is a social analytics company that has been providing businesses with the ability to measure and analyze their social media presence for over 10 years. Each of these products can be used to collect user-generated content from the web, organize it into a searchable archive, and create reports from that data.
As you’ve probably guessed from the name, Netbase is a tool used to monitor and analyze your brand on social media. The way it works is by crawling the entire internet for any mentions of your brand. If your customers mention or post about you online in a place that isn’t searchable (like in a direct message on Twitter), the system will still find it and make it searchable. There are three parts to Netbase: Data Collection, Search Builder, and Archive Manager.
Netbase is visual by nature; their dashboard gives each person an interactive way to see how things are going for their brand. Each time a new piece of user-generated content (UGC) is found, it appears in green on the dashboard. If there are no new UGC pieces for a certain period of time, Netbase will work to find more.
As stated before, companies can use this information to improve their product. This can happen by looking at what your customers like/dislike about your product (Reviews), what they think of your customer service (Sentiment Analysis), and so on. It can also be used to find new customers, see where they are speaking about you online, and outreach to them accordingly.

The next product offered by Netbase is Quid, their social media analytics tool for people who work in the creative industry (e.g., designers). The difference between this product and the first one is that it uses a visual approach to its reports rather than automated ones. So why would someone need this? Quid is used to monitor social mentions and categorize them by various different factors such as sentiment, industry or type of event. This can be helpful for designers because it helps them see how their work has been received online.

Finally, we have Socialize, which is a tool that helps companies build and implement social media analytics.
